Studio

Optical Audio’s main room at is equipped to mix for Atmos, 5.1, and stereo audio formats with 7.1.4 monitoring. We have a Voice Over recording booth and a larger room for recording foley and sound effects. Large internal windows provide visibility between all rooms, with video feeds to each room for ADR or Foley recording. We can connect recording sessions to Zoom including an additional Zoom connection within the VO booth; Source Connect is also available for remote sessions.

Equipment includes Neumann, Sennheiser, Shure, EV, Chandler microphones, API 1608 analog recording console, and Genelec monitors.

Optical Audio is located in the North Loop neighborhood of central Austin with a large parking lot in front of the studio.
